Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Masaryk University, seated Žerotínovo náměstí 9, 601 77 Brno (hereinafter as „Controller“) publishes these terms and conditions for users of AMPER (hereinafter as „Service“).

These terms and conditions shall govern your use of the Service.

By using the Service, you accept these terms and conditions in full; accordingly, if you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use the Service.

2. Registration and User Account

To use the Service, you have to register using registration form.

Account is secured by the combination of username and password. You are required to maintain confidentiality regarding the information necessary to access your Account. Lost password can be recovered trough this form.

You are not entitled to allow the use of the Account to third parties. In the event that you allow third parties access to your Account, the Controller shall not be liable for any damages incurred to you or other persons.

Controller may process contact details provided in registration form while registering to the Service or in the User Settings of the Service. Subject-matter of processing of personal data in particular is name and e-mail address.

Time period of processing aforesaid data is restricted to duration of registration period of data subject to the Service.

Controller reserves the right to delete the User Account at any time without giving any reason or notice. In particular, User Accounts that have not logged in for more than 2 years may be deleted.

You may delete your account at any time in User Settings after you log in to the Service.

Deleting account will completely erase any data that processed by Service about the User and at the same time will revoke the consent with processing of personal data.

The user understands that his account may not be available continuously. Controller reserves the right, without prior notice, to modify or cancel any service provided in the Service or to maintain hardware and software equipment. Controller is not liable for any damage caused by the change or unavailability of the Service.

3. Personal Data Processing

In compliance with article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter as „Regulation“), Controller provides following information:

The Service is provided “as is,” with all faults, and Controller makes no express or implied representations or warranties, of any kind related to the Service or the materials that the Service contains.
